Michelle Garforth-Venter is a media personality and conservation journalist who is best known for her role as SABCs Top Billing presenter. She also appeared as a celebrity contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and was the host of a plethora of environmental shows such as Bush Radar, Spirit of Africa and Wild Ltd.

While living in South Africa Michelle cemented herself as one of South Africas most influential media personalities. Michelle has appeared on the likes of Top Billing, Strictly Come Dancing, Bush Radar, Wild Ltd, Spirit of Africa, No Reservations and Greenline.
The multifaceted creative has also executive produced some of South Africas most well-known shows like DIY with Riaan Venter, Bush Radar Kids, African Hot-rods, Love and Mortar.
In addition to this Michelle is also a voice over artist, scriptwriter, marketing copywriter and content producer.
Passionate about the environment the former Top Billing presenter together with her husband have also written a book titled The Greenline.

In , after a traumatising house robbery ordeal, Michelle and her husband Riaan Venter made a decision to leave South Africa and relocate to the United States, Atlanta to be specific.

After the nightmare where we were tied up for four hours in our house, we decided we didn’t want to raise Rainn in South Africa. In my younger days I lived in Los Angeles and knew I didn’t want to stay there.
I am also not a New Yorker, so we did our homework and Texas kept popping up when we researched for a more diverse community to live in. We contemplated moving to San Antonio, but a good dentist friend of mine, who lived in Atlanta, suggested we visit him and explore the possibility, she told the media outlet.
Since leaving South Africa the award-winning journalist has continued working on her passion as a conservation journalist appearing multiple times on CNN as well as living an adventurous life with her son and husband.
